Two arrested for stealing credit cards

East Hampton, Conn. (WTNH) - East Hampton Police have made two arrests in an identity theft investigation.

Police arrested Gail Saltus, 46, and Frank DuFurio, 50, both out of East Hampton.

Police say they went on a shopping spree with stolen credit cards and IDs at stores in Colchester, East Hampton and Portland.

The East Hampton Police Department became involved after a report from CVS Pharmacy was filed.

Saltus is charged with credit card theft, illegal used of credit cards, identity theft, trafficking in identity theft information, criminal impersonation, larceny, criminal attempt to commit larceny and possession of narcotics.

Dufurio is charged with aiding larceny, credit card theft and trafficking in identity theft information.

Both are expected to appear in court next week.
