HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A former Vernon emergency medical technician is set to be arraigned on a child pornography possession charge stemming from a nearly four-year investigation.
Twenty-eight-year-old Corey MacDonald of Windsor is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at Hartford Superior Court.
West Hartford police say they arrested MacDonald last week after a long-delayed state forensic lab report found 13 images of child porn on his home computer.
Police charged MacDonald with voyeurism in 2009 after his roommate said she found a hidden camera in her bedroom in their West Hartford apartment. MacDonald took a plea bargain and was sentenced to two years of probation.
MacDonald was an EMT in Vernon at the time of his arrest, but town officials say he no longer works there.
MacDonald didn't immediately return a message Thursday.
