15 year old faces child porn charges

    Southbury, Conn. (WTNH) - A 15-year old Southbury teen is facing child pornography charges after allegedly downloading more than 20 images from the internet.

    The 15-year old suspect surrendered himself to police after learning of the warrant for his arrest.

    An investigation by the Southbury Police Department determined that the teen downloaded child sexual abuse files onto a home computer using Limewire. After the investigation was complete, police determined the teen was in possession of more than 20 sexual abuse files.

    The juvenile is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Juvenile Court.
