HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A Philadelphia man is on trial in federal court on charges he stole credit cards from women's purses he targeted while crawling along floors of movie theaters in Fairfield County.

Jamie Lynn McGowan testified on Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Hartford that Johnson grabbed credit cards and driver's license and stored the ZIP codes in her cellphone.
Johnson faces eight charges of unauthorized use of credit cards and two charges of aggravated identity theft.
