Alleged drug dealer arrested in Norwich

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) -- Norwich police have arrested an alleged drug dealer following a four month long investigation.

Jean E. Joseph, 29, was arrested around 9:18 a.m. Wednesday morning on Freeman Avenue in Norwich. Police had been investigating him as part of an investigation into crack cocaine sales in and around town.

When he was arrested, police say they found Joseph in possession of a small amount of crack cocaine and over $300 in cash.

He was charged with two counts of sale of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine.

He was held on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to be presented in court on Wednesday.
