Alleged serial bank robber caught

(WTNH) - Police have arrested a man who allegedly robbed 7 banks in the state.

Police say Christopher Bishop, 37, robbed banks in Essex, Plainfield, Wallingford, Middletown, East Haven, New Haven, and Madison.

Members of the police force from North Branford, Madison, Waterbury, Meriden, State Police and the FBI were investigating these robberies.

Bishop was to be considered dangerous.
