DARIEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- WCBS anchor Rob Morrison was arrested this weekend for a domestic violence incident.
On Sunday at approx. 1:30 a.m. police responded to an incident at the Morrison residence at 221 Hollow Tree Ridge Road.
Police say the victim's mother reported the incident.
Upon arrival, police learned that Morrison had become increasingly beligerent toward his wife during the evening and choked her by the neck with both hands.
Police say there were red marks on the victim's neck that were consistent with the allegations. No medical treatment was requested by the victim.
Morrison was arrested and while being processed made verbal threats to do his wife additional harm which were overheard by the arresting officers.
Morrison posted a $100,000 bond and a court date was scheduled for Feb. 19 at Stamford Superior Court.
