Kent, Conn. (WTNH) - Police are looking for a well disguised man who robbed the Bank of America in Kent Tuesday morning.
State police say the robbery happened around 9:30 a.m. at the branch at 45 N. Main St.
Lt. J. Paul Vance said the robber displayed a weapon and made off with some cash. No one was hurt.
Police described the robber as a male about 6 feet tall, weighing 180 lbs. He was wearing a white hard hat, ski mask, goggles, a pea coat over a hoodie, black pants, and white sneakers.
He took off in a blue colored car that was headed south on Route 7. A vehicle that may have been used in the crime was recovered by New York State Police in the town of Armenia, about 13 miles away.
Anyone who may have seen the car or has other information is asked to call police at 869-626-7900. Calls will be kept confidential.
