WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Connex Credit Union in Wallingford.
Witnesses told News 8 three masked men with handguns ordered people inside to lie on the floor.
The trio made off with an undetermined amount of cash.
They fled the scene in a gray Dodge Caravan with Connecticut combination registration 6300CC. They were last seen heading North on 5 toward Meriden.
It happened at 10:15 Thursday morning at the Connex Credit Union on North Colony Road/Route 5.
The three suspects were described as black males wearing gray hooded sweatshirts. All of them had their faces partially covered.
No one was injured.
The branch is closed until further notice.
