NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) -- An arrest has been made in the attempted child abduction that occurred on July 13th, police say.
On Thursday, Oscar Diaz, 67, was arrested by warrant in his home and charged with kidnapping and breach of peace.
The arrest is the result of an intensive month-long investigation conducted by the New Britain Police Department Patrol and Criminal Investigation Division.
Additional charges involving other victims are anticipated in the near-future.

On the morning of July 13th, a 12-year-old girl was approached by an older man driving a minivan. After making advances after the little girl, she fled home and police were notified.
