SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 20-year-old male was arrested for allegedly robbing a Citgo Gas Station in October.
Alexander Williams, of 23 Zwicks Farms Rd. was arrested on warrant.
On Oct. 18 around 3:45 a.m. officers investigated a burglary at the gas station located at 202 Main St.
Cash, cigarettes, glass smoking pipes and lighters were stolen, police reported.
Officers received an anonymous tip shortly after the burglary, leading them to Williams. Officers interviewed Williams and recovered numerous items from the burglary.
Police applied for a warrant and made the arrest on Nov. 11.
Williams was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, fifth degree larceny, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bond was set at $30,000 and more arrests are expected.
