MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Middlebury Police made two arrests in connection with a home invasion that happened in Middlebury.
Police said a Naugatuck Fireman was on his way to work Thursday and saw a white van, with a Power Wash Logo, driving erratically.
Following two good tips from the public, Middlebury Police worked with CT Parole Dept., CT Probation Dept., Waterbury Police Detective Devision, and Naugatuck Police to obtain an arrest warrant.
Jennifer Labbe, 24, of 255 North Main Street in Waterbury was charged in connection with the home invasion in Middlebury where two children encountered the suspects.
Officer Cronin had personal knowledge of a Power Wash Company and was able to talk to them and start to build the case, police said.
The Power Wash Company cooperated with police and police were able to seize the van that was missing the Power Wash Signs from it and had a stolen marker plate on it, police said.
When Middlebury Police reached out to area police departments they learned that 32-year-old Michael McCurrey, of 47 Irion St., Waterbury, was wanted for violation of parole for cutting his tracking bracelet off.
McCurrey was arrested for the unrelated charge. He cooperated with police and evidence related to the home invasion was recovered.
McCurrey was charged with home invasion, second-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, two counts of risk of injury to a minor, and sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.
Bond was set at $750,000. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 15th in Waterbury.
