Melissa Ziemba, 42, was arrested and charged with the February 3, 2012 murder of Richard West.

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Middletown woman has been arrested for a homicide that happened in Meriden earlier this year.
The arrest stemmed from a homicide that occurred on February 3rd.
On that day, Richard West was found shot to death inside his home, on the first floor at 76 Olive St.
At the time of the crime, police said West and Melissa Ziemba lived in the home together.
Ziemba has been charged with murder and criminal use of a firearm.
She is being held on a $750,000 bond.
