TORRINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police made an arrest following a search warrant on Friday and they found dozens of stolen items within the apartment that they searched.
Police say that at approximately 6 p.m. Friday, a search warrant was executed at 35 Bancroft Street on the 2nd floor.
Erica A. Saucier, 22, was arrested on numerous charges. Among them include possession of presciption drugs, failure to keep prescription drugs in their original container, possession of heroin, possession of narcotics in a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Erica's father, Richard Saucier, was also issued infractions for possession of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
It should be noted that also found within the apartment were numerous stolen items, including iPods, iTouch devices, digital cameras, jewelry, rings, earrings, collectible coins, baseball cards, gift cards from a variety of stores, sunglasses, GPS devices, and other miscellaneous items.
The Torrington Police Department is asking anyone who may be the owner of these item(s) that can identify it/them, to call Evidence Officer John Murphy at (860) 489-2048 or Sgt. David Wood at (860) 489-2058 in his absence.
Police have received numerous reports of stolen items in and around Torrington over the past several weeks.
