NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Two additional arrests were made Friday in connection to a hit-and-run crash that took a 14-year-old boys life.

Kyshant Moore Jr. was riding his bike on Front Street when he was struck in January of 2011. Police say the suspect was driving a stolen mini-van when he intentionally opened the driver’s side door, striking Moore Jr.

Police arrested Keith Boyd, 53, of New Haven, the father of the juvenile suspect. He was charged with intimidating a witness and conspiracy to do the same. He is being held on a half-million dollar court set bond.

The juvenile, who was previously arrested for the fatality, is similarly charged. His warrant will be served at his arraignment on October 9, 2012.
