WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Two men were arrested for stealing used cooking oil from a West Haven restaurant.
On Monday around 3:30 a.m. police found two suspicious males in the back of Spectator's Sports Bar & Grill located at 703 Campbell Avenue.
According to Sgt. Tammaro, the officers found two males using a generator, a pump, and hosing to steal used cooking oil and stored it in barrells in a van.
The males told police the oil is resold to recycling centers in NY.
Alfredo Gonzalez of Yonkers, NY and David Brea of Wooster, MA were charged with larceny and conspiracy charges.
A court date is set for Dec. 4.
