REDDING, Conn. (CTPost.com) -- A staff member at Joel Barlow High School has been suspended while police investigate an allegation that the individual had an "inappropriate relationship" with a high school student, officials said Wednesday.
Barlow Principal Thomas McMorran said the as-yet unnamed employee was placed on administrative leave earlier this week while police and the state Department of Children and Families look into the allegation.
The investigation was sparked by a telephone complaint to DCF, McMorran said.
