BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Bloomfield couple was arrested in connection with a marijuana growing operation Tuesday.
The incident occurred at 11 Sunset Lane.
While executing a search and seizure warrant at the home, police found 90 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, 4 lbs. of dried marijuana, 3 firearms, $2,200 in cash, scales, packaging materials, and various components aided in the growth of marijuana.
Christopher Gallagher, 40, and Kristine Gallagher, 44, were both charged with cultivation of more than 1 kilo of marijuana and conspiracy, possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana and conspiracy, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and conspiracy, and operating a drug factory.
Christopher Gallagher was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on $150,000 bond.
Kristine Gallagher was released on $50,000 bond.
Christopher Gallagher is an English teacher at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford. He is also the head coach of the boy's lacrosse team.
