WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man was arrested after his 5-year-old son was found alone and crying on a West Hartford sidewalk.
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Tunxis Rd. and Chestnut Hill Rd. Wednesday on the report of a small child who was alone and crying on a sidewalk.
Upon arrival, the complainants directed officers to 334 Tunxis Rd. where they had returned the child to his home.
Police found no one home. They waited for over an hour for the father of the child to arrive.
Gbolagade Adetola, 44, was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor.
DCF was notified of the incident.
