Boyfriend arrested in Lebanon shooting

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH) -- The boyfriend of a woman found shot in Lebanon has been arrested on attempted murder charges.

State police arrested Jason Durr, 27, who lived at the home on Kick Hill Road where the shooting occurred on Wednesday.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, is from Westerly, Rhode Island. She was shot once in the chest.

Durr is charged with attempted murder, assault and illegal possession of an assault weapon.

He was held on $750,000 bond and is expected to be in court later this morning.
