Bridgeport babysitter faces child endangerment charges

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)-- A Bridgeport babysitter faces charges of child endangerment after she allegedly brought the 2-year-old girl she was watching to a hotel party late Saturday night, without the mother's permission.
Police say when the mother of the child called to pick up the 2-year-old girl after work, the babysitter, Samya Quinones, 20, wouldn't answer her phone.
This triggered a hours long investigation and Silver Alerts for both Quinones and the child, just after midnight on Sunday.
Police later discovered that Quinones brought the child to a pool party at a Stratford hotel.
Quinones was charged with risk of injury to a minor. Her bond was set at $20,000.
