BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police in Bridgeport have identified the victim of the city's latest homicide and they say he has an extensive criminal history.

35-year-old Mayro Santiago was found lying on the ground with gunshot wounds in front of the All Star Barber Shop on East Main Street Monday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses report seeing a light-skinned Hispanic male, wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts and sneakers, flee south on E. Main St. The suspect had a distinctive mohawk-style hair cut, black hair, and weighed approximately 120 lbs.

Santiago was the third homicide victim in Bridgeport in just three days.

A 30-year-old restaurant owner and a 15-year-old girl were killed on Saturday.

The city is considering a teen curfew as one possible solution to the violence. They're set to vote on the issue on Thursday.
