BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH)-- The man who robbed a Bristol Subway at gunpoint on Saturday night was caught by police.
Police say Darin Green, 35, of Bristol, brandished a silver handgun and held it to the back of an employee's head, around 8:41 PM, at the Subway restaurant at 1197 Farmington Avenue.
Green then restrained the employee while he took money from the register, before leaving the store.
Police say they recovered a loaded, silver .38 caliber handgun, cash from the register and the clothing that the victim described Green wore during the robbery.
Green is charged with robbery, criminal possession of a firearm, reckless endangerment, assault, breach of peace and larceny.
He is being held on $500,000 bond.
