HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)-- Two men car-jacked a vehicle with a BB gun in Hartford on Saturday morning.
Police say two men dressed in all black, holding what appeared to be a firearm, approached a silver 2012 Dodge Avenger around 3:48 AM at 69 S. Whitney Street.
Two other suspects, a male and a female, waited in a black Nissan.
Police say the victim was hit in the head with the BB gun and forced to hand over the car and all his money, which allegedly was $9,000.
The victim was treated at the scene for his injuries and did not learn until later that the weapon was a BB gun.
Hartford police do not know if the victim's car, with Massachusetts plates, has been recovered and are still investigating the incident.
