Hartford, Conn. (WTNH) - A Glastonbury man was arrested on charges that include intimidation due to bias.

49-year-old Donald Vaccaro's bond was set at $10,000 after the incident at 56 Arbor Street in Hartford.

According to the Hartford Courant , Vaccaro, the CEO of TicketNetwork Inc ., was making racial insults towards a security guard at an Oscar party. The paper says he appeared to be drunk when he grabbed a woman and wouldn't let go.

“If these allegations prove true, they are reprehensible.  Mr. Vaccaro should be ashamed of himself," Governor Dannel Malloy said.

In a personal statement Vaccaro said, "This was a very unfortunate incident. I am deeply concerned about what has been reported and I am taking the allegations very seriously. People who know me are well aware that my approaches to life and work are highly inclusive, and the comments reported do not reflect my values. I have asked attorney Jim Wade of Robinson & Cole to assist me and ask that the legal process be allowed to take its appropriate course."

Vaccaro was arrested Monday and charged with intimidation due to bias, second degree threatening, second degree breach of peace, first degree criminal trespass, and interfering with police.

He is scheduled to appear in court on March 7.
