MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (AP) — A Middletown man has been accused of driving while under the influence of PCP after a police officer spotted a woman climbing through the sunroof of his sport utility vehicle.
The Hartford Courant reports that Salvatore Morello is due in court Friday after his May 20 arrest.
Police say the 33-year-old Morello handed an officer blank paper when asked for his driver's license, registration and proof of insurance and couldn't provide his name and other information. They say the suspected PCP was found in the vehicle.
Morello was charged with possession of PCP, operating under the influence and operating a vehicle with a rider outside. He was released without bail.
It wasn't known if Morello had an attorney. A listed phone number for Morello couldn't be found.
