NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut man arrested in North Dakota has pleaded guilty to sending a threatening note to a New London judge in September 2010 with a substance he said was "liquid Anthrax" and mailing a hoax bomb threat that forced a post office and school to evacuate.

The Day of New London reports that Roland Prejean, also known as Gary Joseph Gravelle, pleaded guilty in federal court using the U.S. mail to communicate a bomb threat and mailing threatening communications.

Federal prosecutors say Prejean, who lived in Thomaston and Morris, has been in federal custody since he was arrested in North Dakota on Sept. 7, 2010, after mailing more than 50 threatening letters.

The 45-year-old Prejean faces up to 35 years in prison when he is sentenced on April 8.
