WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Hartford man was arrested after allegedly using his cell phone to film up women's skirt at a local grocery store.
The incident occurred between 3 and 4 p.m. Thursday, at a Whole Foods, on Raymond Rd., in West Hartford.
Upon arrival, police were able to detain the suspect, Giovanni Geronilla, who then admitted to using his phone for that purpose.
Police said there were numerous video clips of him filming various women.
In all, there are six unidentified women who were filmed.
According to police, the suspect would place his cell phone in a shopping basket and either hold it or slide it under their skirts.
Police are looking to identify the victims and are asking for anyone to come forward if they feel they could be a victim. All the victims are described as white females wearing skirts or dresses. In two instances the victims had a child with them.
Geronilla, 34, of 24 Park Pl., Hartford, was charged with six counts of second-degree breach of peace.
His phone was seized in connection with the crime.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Chris Tyler #348 at 860-523-2002 ext. 8348.
