WESTPORT, Conn. (WTNH) -- A home aid and companion was arrested for allegedly stealing checks from an elderly client.
Sasha Garcia was arrested on Tuesday on charges of larceny and forgery.
Police say in May 2012, Garcia stole and forged four checks belonging to an elderly person in Westport.
She was released after posting a $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Sept. 21.
