PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police in Plainfield are investigating a commercial burglary that happened at a package store there this weekend.
The incident occurred at Carol's Package Store, located at 10 Putnam Road in the Central Village section of Plainfield. Police believe the crime was committed during the overnight hours, between 11:15 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
Police said entry was made into the building by pushing an air condition unit through a window.
The items stolen include a cash register, a laptop computer, a register scanning device, several bottles of hard liquor, several packages and cartons of cigarettes, and cash.
