CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) -- A West Haven man was arrested for animal cruelty after allegedly killing his girlfriend's dog in August.
On August 31st, Cromwell Police responded to Bayberry Court for an injured dog. Upon arrival, officers found the dog owner and the dog in question, which was already deceased.
During the investigation it was determined that on the morning of August 31st, 36-year-old Lynx Tribuce kicked his girlfriend's 5 lb. Chihuahua causing its death.
Tribuce, of 157 Bull Hill Lane, was charged with cruelty to animals.
He was released on a $20,000 and is scheduled to appear in court in Middletown on October 16th.
