NORTH BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police say two people are dead following a murder-suicide in North Branford.
Police say 41-year-old Exsell Negron shot his wife, 39-year-old Meredith Negron, and his father-in-law, 70-year-old Richard Fletcher, before turning the gun on himself.
The shootings happened inside their home on Brook Lane on Saturday night.
The Negron's were pronounced dead on the scene, while Fletcher was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
Police say Meredith Negron's death was a homicide and her husband's death a suicide.
Neighbors told News 8 that the Negron's had a 2-year-old child.
