SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) -- An East Hartford man was arrested Saturday for stealing thousands of dollars worth of meat from a local distribution business in South Windsor.
The incident occurred in February 2012.
Police said the business owner reported that he had lost thousands of dollars of products, including frozen chicken wings, from the warehouse.
After reviewing security footage, police found that 48-year-old Juan Flores, of 122 Washington Ave., had been removing products from the warehouse and giving them to acquaintances.
The value of the stolen material is estimated to be approximately $3,000
Flores was charged with third-degree larceny.
He was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond.
He is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on July 26th.
