Cops: Massage parlor owner busted for running brothel

Clinton, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Clinton massage parlor owner turned herself into police after officers determined her business was serving as a brothel.

46-year-old Yujing Hou, known as Anna, of Valley Stream New York turned herself into police and was charged with prostitution and promoting prostitution.

Hou is the owner of Jade Massage Therapy, also known as 888 Massage, at 3 Post Office Square in Clinton. Police began looking into the business after receiving several complaints that the business was a front for prostitution.

Officers searched the business and seized business records, notes, lotions, oils, advertising, computers and an internal surveillance system.

During the investigation, officers determined the employees did not have massage licenses. All the employees are from New York state.

Hou turned herself into police after she learned a warrant had been filed for her arrest. She was held on a $50,000 court set bond.
