Cops say serial burglar under arrest

Shelton, Conn. (WTNH) - Police have arrested a Shelton man for numerous burglaries committed in Fairfield and New Haven Counties.

Robert Murhamer, 24, was arrested on Friday, January 13 on charges of burglary and larceny.

Police say they linked Murhamer to three residential burglaries in Shelton, as well as several others in the towns of Derby, Seymour, and Middlebury.

These burglaries occurred over a several month span and police say more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.  

Murhamer was held on a $50,000 bond.
