STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a convenience store in Stratford Tuesday night.
The robbery took place around 8 p.m., at Krauszer's Market, located at 20 Westchester Ave.
During the robbery, a white man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the store clerk.
The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5'3" tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.
Officers with a K-9 attempted to locate the suspect, but were unsuccessful.
