STRATFORD, Conn. (CT Post) - A 40-year-old local woman was arrested after police said she fled from a diner without paying her bill, rammed a police cruiser during a two-mile chase and refused to cooperate with officers Sunday morning.
Serita Harris, of Birch Drive, was charged with sixth-degree larceny for failing to pay for her $9.15 breakfast at the Duchess Diner, 1000 Stratford Ave., police said.
Harris was hospitalized during booking, but police will apply for a warrant charging her with engaging police in a pursuit, reckless driving, evading responsibility and causing property damage, assault on a peace officer, interfering with an officer and possession of cocaine, according to the incident report.
