Bristol (WTNH) - State troopers and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) personnel say they have found several 55-gallon-barrels, of unknown liquid substance, at seven different dump sites in four towns.

Those communities are Harwinton, Plymouth, Burlington and Bristol.

State Police traced the barrels back to a company called R&R Corrugated located on Miner Road in Bristol.

All the dump sites have been cleaned-up of hazardous materials, but officials say the dumping had taken place very recently.

Investigators say right now no one has been charged because this is an on-going investigation.

Authorities say they expect to make arrests in the next couple of days.
