Cromwell, Conn. (WTNH) - The father of a young hockey player was arrested after a fight broke out at a game.

It happened at Champions on Progress Drive Saturday night.

Guiseppe Solla, 41, of Plainville has been charged with breach of peace.

Witnesses told police that the fight started over a referee's call. An off-duty police officer at the game says the verbal dispute escalated to pushing and grabbing in the scorer's box.

Solla posted bond and is due in court November 9.
