EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)-- An East Hartford man was arrested on Saturday night for filming a 13-year-old girl while she was showering.

Police say the victim's mother found a recording device hidden in a box in the bathroom of their apartment.

Cesar Torres-Cruz, 37, was charged with voyeurism and risk of injury to a minor. He was not charged with breaking into the apartment, however.

Police say they are still not sure if the girl was being targeted while she was in the shower, but other videos were found on Torres-Cruz' cell phone.

Torres-Cruz is being held on $50,000 bail.
