NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are investigating after a New Haven bank was robbed Wednesday morning.
The robbery happened just before 10 a.m., at the First Niagara bank, located at 36 Fountain St.
Police said an unknown white man passed a note to the teller and lifted his shirt to show a black handgun.
The suspect then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as being between 25 and 35 years old, 6'2" tall, with a medium build, short brown hair, and a goatee. He was wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and white sneakers at the time of the incident.
