NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH) -- An arrest has been made following an investigation that revealed a man was selling heroin, police say.
Police said that at approximately 1 p.m. Thursday Joshua S. Swindell, 30, of Rochester, N.Y. was arrested. An investigation by the narcotic unit revealed that he was selling heroin.
Swindell appeared as one of the Norwich Police Department's top-10 wanted fugitives in February 2012, after efforts to locate him were unsuccessful.
Police had received new information that Swindell had moved to Rochester, N.Y. and with the assistance of the United States Marshall's Service, Swindell was taken into custody on the strength of the arrest warrant.
Swindell was being held by authorities in Rochester, N.Y. and waived extradition.
He is currently being held on a $150,000 court set bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Norwich Superior Court on August 10, 2012.
