(WTNH) - Memorial services are set for the Connecticut State Trooper who was killed along 1-91 in Enfield.
Trooper First Class Kenneth Ray Hall, 57, was killed Thursday afternoon while issuing a motor vehicle citation when another car crashed into his vehicle.
Saturday, Massachusetts authorities say the driver of that car, 32-year-old Michael Pajak of Enfield, was being guarded by State Police at the Bay State Medical Center. He is facing charges and is under arrest for a number of other motor vehicle warrants . Pajak was eventually brought to Hamden County Corrections in Ludlow, Mass., where he was being held on $50,000 bail.
Hall's body was escorted by state police from Bay State Medical Center in Massachusetts to a funeral home in Windsor on Friday afternoon.
A memorial Facebook page has been established for TFC Hall.
A Vietnam veteran, he will be buried with full military honors on Friday.
Calling hours for Trooper First Class Kenneth Ray Hall will be held Thursday, Sept. 9 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Aveune in Windsor.

Funeral services with full military honors are slated for 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 10 at the Connecticut State Armory on 360 Broad Street in Hartford. His burial will be private.
He leaves behind a wife and five sons.
Pajak and passenger, 33-year-old Jenny Benvenuto of Windsor, were seriously injured. Benvenuto's condition was upgraded to fair condition on Saturday. She has since been discharged, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Business was brisk in Pakistan as several thousand people paid to see the shark.
