Gas station held at gunpoint

SHELTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- A Shell Gas Station was held at gunpoint on Saturday evening.
Shelton Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at 99 Bridgeport Ave.
The employee told police that a male wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black cloth covering his face entered the store and went to the register.
Lt. Robert Kozlowsky reported the man displayed the gun and demanded money, then left the store with an undetermined amount of money.
There were no other employees or customers inside the store when the incident took place and the employee was not injured.
Police are still investigating the incident.
