Grocery story bank branch robbed

Manchester, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police in Manchester are looking for a suspect who robbed a First Niagara Bank Branch inside a Shop Rite store.

The branch located on Spencer Street was robbed on Tuesday just before closing time at 7:00 p.m.

The bank manager described the suspect as a Hispanic or Indian man standing about 5'7" in his mid 30s. He was wearing a dark blue baseball hat, reading glasses and a dark zip-up coat.

The suspect handed teller a note that read, "Large bills no tricks! Hurry!"

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the store.
