GROTON, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police in Groton are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a local pharmacy early Thursday morning.
The robbery occurred just before 1:30 a.m., at the Walgreen's Pharmacy, located in the Lighthouse Square Shopping Center, Long Hill Rd.
At that time, police said the suspect entered the store and demanded money. The lone suspect then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a man, wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes.
The suspect was also wearing a ski mask, glasses and gloves. Police said he displayed a knife.
No one was injured during the robbery.
