PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Two juveniles were arrested for stealing items out of a car in a driveway.

A caller reported their neighbor saw someone rummaging inside their car in the driveway on Second Street. The caller said a purse was taken from the car and that they tried to find the suspect who left riding a bike, police reported.

The caller found the suspect with another person close by on Mill Street. One of the suspects was cooperative with the caller and the second fled on a bike, police reported.

Police arrived on the scene after the caller reported the incident, and found the second suspect close by on Railroad Avenue.

Both suspects were charged with third-degree Burglary and sixth-degree Larceny.

GPS units, iPod's, change, and other electronic devices were recovered by police.

The juveniles are scheduled to appear in court November 12.

Plainfield Police want to remind citizens to lock their cars and remove personal belongings and valuables.
