KILLINGLY, Conn. (WTNH)-- A Killingly couple was arrested for operating a drug factory, after police responded to a call for a suicidal man at their home on Friday.
Police said they found the suicidal man, Hardy Jenkins, 25, disoriented and under the influence of various drugs, when they arrived at 365 A Bailey Road.
While at the scene, police say they discovered that Jenkins and his girlfriend, Rihanna Moustafa, 16, were using their apartment to sell cocaine, marijuana, and nitrous oxide.
A search of their apartment led police to seize 11 grams of powder cocaine, 2.3 oz's of marijuana, 30 grams of hashish, a canister of nitrous oxide, scales, packaging equipment and $1,000 in cash.
Both Jenkins and Moustafa were charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine WITS, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana WITS, possession of a restricted substance, operating a drug factory, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
Both were released on $25,000 bond and are set to appear in court on January 22nd.
