LITCHFIELD, Conn. (AP) — A former receptionist at a school for children with special needs has rejected a plea offer on charges she had a sexual relationship with a student.

The Register Citizen of Torrington reports that 27-year-old Brittany Larson has opted for a trial on sexual assault charges.

Larson, who worked at the Devereaux Glenholme School in Washington, was arrested in October after the alleged victim posted messages on Facebook about an alleged relationship with Larson and indicated that she had sent him nude photos.

The Devereaux Glenholme School serves students with Asperger's syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and other learning disorders.
