HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — The state Medical Examining Board has revoked the license of an East Hartford doctor accused of sexually assaulting female patients.

Dr. Edwin Njoku (en-JOH'-koo) is charged in alleged assaults of six women. He has denied the allegations.

Arrest warrant affidavits say the alleged victim in one case claims Njoku drugged her and tried to rape her at his office. Others have alleged inappropriate touching during medical exams.

Njoku was arrested on Jan. 31 and his license had been suspended in February.
